Intrinsically, this game is fantastic, as well as the subsequent downloadable content; I find the controls on the PC to be somewhat finicky without the use of an Xbox One controller (since I do not have Windows 10 Mad ), however - the controls are tolerable. On the other hand, I have managed to approach day 24 so far on 'Don't Starve' (Xbox One); compared to day 4 on the PC and have therefore encountered the seasonal transition from summer/autumn to winter.

Has anyone else played this game, whether it be on Xbox One, Playstation 4, PS Vita or PC? What are your opinions of 'Don't Starve' and the DLC? cat

I've never heard of it, but it sounds like a game I might be interested in Smile

Is it a zombie survival game? Or just a normal survival game? Very Happy

Essentially, the game itself is considered a sandbox survival game; in which you commence the game in a randomly generated world, with the only means of survival being to utilise objects and materials within your surroundings - whether that may be food, tools, magic etc. It seems to be a game whereby the more you play it, the more you become accustomed to the strategy involved and are able to survive in the wilderness for longer. Furthermore, some gamers have managed to surpass 1000 days/nights on a single save file. Whilst surviving in the wild within the 'Don't Starve' indie game, you have to maintain integrity by ensuring that health, hunger and sanity remains at a good level, as to prevent the character from succumbing.

I suppose that in essence, it does bear similarities to Minecraft. Smile
